Two Bellevue men compete for Mr. Awesome of Seattle | Entertainment

What makes a (Bellevue) Seattle man awesome? According to social networking event company Alar Productions, someone who is charming, clever, kind to puppies and kittens, and can dance in the rain and turn it into sunshine.

Mr. Awesome of Seattle candidates from Bellevue are apparently all that and more. Isaac Barham, an entrepreneur, and John Wu, a model/actor/musician are two of 15 men in the running for the first Mr. Awesome of Seattle award.

Here is Barham’s Bio:

I'm Isaac Barham, Founder & CEO of Barham Motors International which is an Electric Car & Home Energy Solutions Company. I enjoy people, business, car design, sustainable energy technology and networking amongst other things. I also am a singer and musician and very much enjoy composing, performing and listening to all types of music. Additionally, I am a big fan of films, especially foreign films including just about anything made by BBC.

Wu’s Bio:

I think my friends would call me multi-faceted - I try to be a well-rounded person! I've had people comment that when I decide I want to do something, I actually do it. I also believe in always growing as a person, and being a life-long learner.

I enjoy working out keeping fit, and playing sports. I'm committed to life-long physical fitness.

A long-time hobby of mine has been writing and performing music. As a musician, I play guitar, keyboard, and sing. One of my music projects achieved national college radio play and had a song featured by Geico on their promotional website.

I enjoy acting as well, and I love the challenge of bringing a character to life. I feel very privileged to be able to participate in the art of storytelling. I had a small role in the Korean film Late Autumn and a role in the music video for I Wonder, by Gowe. Later this year, I will appear in one of the lead roles for the film Rogue Saints.

I'm very passionate about giving back to the community and have founded the social-enterprise company Noble Suit Co. It is a line of tailored men's clothing. To me, the modern day suit is equivalent to a suit of armor long ago. In it, we engage the world, look our best, and fight to provide for our families. Keeping this in mind, with our line we've combined the dual meanings of nobility. A portion of our revenue also goes to providing clean drinking water for people in impoverished nations through the charity: water organization. I'm excited about the opportunity to build a lasting way for men to look their best and be their best!
