Massage Envy proceeds benefit arthritis | Community Spirit

Supporting the Arthritis Foundation, 19 Puget Sound area Massage Envy  locations, including six Eastside locations, will host Healing Hands for Arthritis on October 12--World Arthritis Day--to help raise awareness of those affected by arthritis. Massage Envy locations on the Eastside include those in Bellevue, Issaquah, Newcastle, Kirkland, Redmond and Woodinville.

“Most of us know at least one individual, young or old, impacted by arthritis,” said Donna Senatore, Issaquah Massage Envy co-owner. “This is our way of helping to fight a disease that affects 50 million Americans and is our nation’s most common cause of disability.”

As part of the one day nationwide fundraising event, Massage Envy clinics will donate $10 from each one-hour therapeutic massage session or facial session to the Arthritis Foundation. Monetary donations will also be accepted October 12.

In addition, Murad®, Massage Envy Spa’s strategic skin care partner, will donate 10% of all product sales at Massage Envy Spa locations during the event to the Arthritis Foundation.
