Fire destroys ten vehicles at apartment complex | 911

What started as one truck fire lead to ten burned vehicles at Woodland & Foothill Commons Apartments.

At 7:48 a.m. this morning, a passerby called 911 and reported a white pick-up truck was on fire in a car port in the 1300 block of 140th Avenue Northeast. When Bellevue fire crews arrived at 7:55 a.m., the fire had spread to several vehicles. When the blaze was extinguished less than 20 minutes later, 5 cars were totaled and 5 more had some fire damage.The car port is completely destroyed.

Bellevue Community Liaison Officer Eric Keenan estimates the damage will total about $150,000. The apartment building was not damaged and no one was injured.

Keenan says investigators are at the scene but have not determined the cause of the fire.
